A ₹1,348-crore Jal Jeevan Mission project to provide drinking water to 15 grama panchayats in Kozhikode district will be partially commissioned next month.
As part of a review of the project’s progress, District Collector Snehil Kumar Singh recently visited the work site of the 100 MLD water treatment plant at Peruvannamuzhi. Jal Jeevan Mission superintending engineer P.C. Biju informed the District Collector that the project would be partially commissioned by March 31. Mr. Singh reviewed the project’s technical aspects as well as the progress of the allied works.
