Jan. 30 (UPI) -- The Minnesota Vikings fired general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, they announced Friday.
Vikings owners Mark and Zygi Wilf said executive vice president of football operations Rob Brzezinski will lead operations through the 2026 NFL Draft. They made the decision to dismiss Adofo-Mensah after their annual end of season organizational meetings.
"These decisions are never easy," the Wilfs said. "We are grateful for Kwesi's contributions and commitment to the organization over the past four years and wish him and his family the best in the future."
The Wilfs said they will search for their new general manager after the 2026 NFL Draft, which will be held April 23 to 25 in Pittsburgh. The Vikings the No. 18 overall pick.
