Jan. 30 (UPI) -- The Buffalo Bills agreed to hire Pete Carmichael Jr. as their new offensive coordinator.
Sources told NFL Network, WGR 550 and The Athletic about the agreement Friday. Carmichael will replace Joe Brady, who was promoted Tuesday from offensive coordinator to head coach.
Carmichael spent the last two seasons as a senior offensive assistant for the Denver Broncos. He worked alongside Broncos offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi and coach Sean Payton to help build the NFL's No. 10 offense in 2025.
The Broncos ranked 11th in passing and 16th in rushing. The 2024 Broncos logged the 19th-most yards, with the No. 16 rushing attack and No. 20 passing game.
The Broncos fired Lombardi last week.
