Confident Group chairman C. J. Roy found dead amid ongoing Income Tax raids in Bengaluru; circumstances remain unclear.
C. J. Roy, 57, chairman of the Confident Group, a real estate firm with footprints in Bengaluru and across Kerala, allegedly shot himself to death at his Langford Town bungalow on Friday.
Roy was found bleeding with bullet wounds, sources said. Though he was rushed to Narayana Hospital in HSR Layout, he was declared “brought dead”, they added.
