U.S. Treasury yields moved higher on Friday as investors await President Donald Trump’s announcement on his pick for the next Federal Reserve Chair.
At 4:45 a.m. ET, the 10-year Treasury
yield was more than 3 basis point higher to 4.265%, while the 2-year Treasury note yield was up less than 1 basis point to 3.557%. The 30-year Treasury yield rose 4 basis points to 4.9%.
One basis point is equivalent to 0.01%, and yields and prices move in opposite directions.
