A newly surfaced voice message Blake Lively sent to Justin Baldoni in 2023 offers insight into the dynamic between the "It Ends With Us" costars, ahead of the production and years before their ongoing legal battle.
On Feb. 8, 2023, the "Gossip Girl" alum sent a voice message to Baldoni speaking candidly about the stressors in her life before they shot the romance film, according to People and US Weekly.
"I'm talking to you as a friend at this point more than anything," Lively told the "It Ends With Us" director.
In the audio, Lively vents about having back-to-back projects, juggling parenthood without a baby nurse, and other family obligations weighing on her at the time, People reported.
"The only reason that I'm doing (the movie) before is because I gave them my word and I wouldn’t go back on that," she said. "But having a week off in between, it’s just a lot."
