In a decision that will accelerate the pace of industrial expansion, Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) has allotted 12.5 acres of plots to 25 industrial units in the state.
The move will give a significant boost to industrial activity, job creation and economic growth in the state.
The decision to allot plots and plug-and-play sheds to eligible candidates was taken at a meeting of Project Clearance Committee (PCC) of BIADA on Wednesday which was chaired by Industries Department’s Secretary and its (BIADA) MD Kundan Kumar.
It will further accelerate Bihar’s journey towards becoming a strong and diversified industrial hub, official sources said.
These approved proposals are poised to attract a cumulative investment of ₹168.52 crore and expected to generate 1194 direct employment opportunities apart from indirect employment opportunities in the state.
