Jan. 28 (UPI) -- A sheriff's deputy in Florida ended up in an unusual situation when he was called to remove a 9-foot boa constrictor from a surprised resident's yard.

The Indian River Sheriff's Office said on social media that Cpl. T. Kramer was called out to a home where a resident spotted a large snake in her yard.

The sheriff's office shared photos of Kramer capturing the snake, a 9-foot boa constrictor.
