BAHA: The Baha Winter Festival is seeing growing demand for winter camps and gatherings in open areas, public parks, and rural farms in the region, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The camps, which benefit from Baha’s mild climate and mountainous landscape, have become a popular destination for family gatherings and social events during the winter season.

Set up with traditional tents and decorated with authentic patterns and colors, the camps are spread over several locations.

They reflect the region’s social heritage and cultural identity and embody the rural lifestyle traditionally associated with winter, the SPA added.

The camps and gatherings boost seasonal tourism by attracting visitors seeking nature and local hospitality, while supporting related activities such as traditional markets and handicrafts.
