Expect more mini trade deals, not big agreements, in 2026: Hinrich Foundation

Deborah Elms, head of trade policy at the Hinrich Foundation, says it's businesses and governments will likely collaborate via bilateral "mini arrangements" in 2026. She also expects President Trump to threaten tariffs against the European Union next, in part due to annoyance at the EU and India's "mother of all trade deals".
