The gruesome images of protesting Iranians being shot by the Islamic regime in Tehran, and the seemingly ambiguous response in Ireland – especially among those who have been loudly marching against Israel for the past two years – did not surprise me. If anything, as a Dublin-born resident of Tel Aviv, it subtly reinforced my sense of Israeliness.
