RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s cabinet on Tuesday reiterated its support for the Board of Peace initiative in Gaza, describing it as a transitional mechanism aimed at ending the conflict and facilitating reconstruction in the Gaza Strip.
The position was outlined during a cabinet meeting chaired in Riyadh by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Ministers reviewed regional and international developments, with a focus on efforts to restore security and stability in the region.
The crown prince briefed the cabinet on a message he received from Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa regarding bilateral relations between the two countries.
Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossari said the cabinet also discussed Saudi Arabia’s participation in the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos.
