Whoopi Goldberg and the other hosts of “The View” reacted to the shooting of Alex Pretti at the hands of federal law enforcement agents in Minneapolis over the weekend, with Goldberg insisting Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino “have blood on your hands”—joining other actors and entertainers protesting the massive enforcement operation in Minnesota.

The longtime host and Trump critic questioned what the federal government was investigating in Minnesota if not “the second murder of an American citizen,” alluding to the previous deadly shooting of Renee Good at the hands of a federal agent earlier in January.

The other hosts of the view also seemed in agreement—Ana Navarro, a cohost and former Republican strategist, said the Trump administration “lies to its citizens” and said the phone Pretti was holding posed a different kind of threat: “they don’t want people to see the cruelty that they are inflicting on women, on children.”
