At a hearing Monday in Minnesota, lawyers for the state urged a judge to issue a temporary restraining order to drastically reduce the number of ICE agents in the state and vastly limit their activities.
"Another person has been shot dead in broad daylight by DHS agents. The state National Guard has been deployed. More harms to sovereign interest have accrued," said Lindsey Middlecamp, special counsel for the Minnesota Office of the Attorney General.
Instead of engaging with facts, Attorney General Pam Bondi sent "what can only be described as a ransom note, holding public safety and health hostage," Middlecamp said.
