London & Partners, growth agency supported by the Mayor of London, and Grow London Global, spearheaded a senior-level delegation of London-based sustainability and green innovation companies on a trade mission to India, recently.
This mission which was held from January 19 to January 22, and travelled to Chennai and New Delhi, looked at tapping into prospects in India’s fast-expanding green economy, according to a press release. Companies like Carbonplace, Electric Miles, EMSOL, Experienz, EIP limited, Finmile, Impact Advantage, Qualus, SmartResilience, Teknobuilt, and The Washing Machine Project were part of the delegation.
“The five-day mission aimed to facilitate high-impact collaborations and reinforce the shared commitment to a net-zero future, set against a backdrop of rapidly expanding UK-India trade totalling GBP 47.2 billion in the four quarters to the end of Q2 2025, an increase of 15.2% driven by the new India-UK FTA framework, designed to dismantle trade barriers and accelerate clean-tech exchange,” the release said.
