Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin on Friday (January 23, 2026) said Tamil Nadu would always pose setbacks to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), which had been “continuously betraying” the State.
In a post on social media, Mr. Stalin, who raised questions for Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the latter’s visit to the State to address an NDA rally, alleged that Mr. Modi frequently visited Tamil Nadu only when elections approached.
Mr. Stalin was responding to a tweet by Mr. Modi, who said, “Tamil Nadu is with the NDA!”
