The app was supposed to be banned in the US after its Chinese owner refused to sell it by a January deadline.
The social media platform had faced a ban in the US over national security concerns.
The new account comes as Trump has three times delayed implementing a ‘sell or ban’ law for the Chinese-owned app.
The White House said a deal could be signed "in the coming days", but Beijing is yet to comment.
