Martin Short may not be your ideal wedding guest.
The actor, 75, revealed during a Jan. 21 appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that he accidentally cut into Selena Gomez's wedding cake before it was presented.
The comedian says he views his "Only Murders in the Building" costar as "an extra child of mine" and was thrilled to be a part of her nuptials to producer Benny Blanco.
"I adore her so much, and she found this guy and he’s the greatest guy," he told Kimmel on Wednesday. "They have the greatest hang and they're wildly in love. So the wedding was perfect and it was beautiful."
"It was a big, big party," he continued of the star-studded affair. Both Blanco and Gomez's connections in the entertainment industry run deep: "Imagine a stage and dance floor and musicians and big, big tents. And at the back of the tent were these individual seating areas with couches and chairs," he said.
