Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Lindsey Vonn, Mikaela Shiffrin and Chloe Kim were among 97 American skiers and snowboarders selected for the 2026 Winter Olympics, officials announced Thursday.

Snowboarder Jamie Anderson, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, was among the notable omissions from the team. The full roster of athletes can be found here.

The athletes will compete for Team USA at the Winter Olympics from Feb. 4 to 22 in Milan, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Valtellina, Val di Fiemme, Bormio and Livigno. The schedule features 116 medal events.

"The athletes we are sending to the Games represent a large portion of Team USA and I am confident about the impact they will make in Italy," U.S. Ski and Snowboard president and CEO Sophie Goldschmidt said in a news release.
