Tamil Nadu Assembly on Wednesday (January 21, 2026) condoled the death of former MLAs Sa, Panneerselvam and L. Ganesan.
Assembly Speaker M. Appavu, who read out the obituary references, said Panneerselvam was elected from Tindivanam Assembly constituency in 1991 election.
L. Ganesan was elected from Orathanadu Assembly constituency. He also represented the DMK in Rajya Sabha. He was also a member of the Legislative Council. Later he joined the MDMK launched by Vaiko and was elected to the Lok Sabha.
