With their 27-21 win over Miami to claim the College Football Playoff national championship, Curt Cignetti's 2025 Hoosiers team now joins an exclusive group of major college football teams to reach the 16-0 mark. While Indiana is the first team in the modern era to reach those heights, and the first in over 130 years to do so, it isn't the first in college football history.
