Autorickshaws parked near the entry/exit and RPF Office towards Platform no. 4 at Duvvada Railway Station are causing hurdles in the free movement of passengers in and out of the railway station. The illegal entry and wrong parking is also causing considerable risk to passenger, says ZRUCC Member K. Eswar.
He lodged a complaint with the officials concerned on Sunday and also requested the city police to post a police constable there to prevent the blocking of the road outside the station by autorickshaws. He also said that there was not a single RTC bus, during the arrival time of Simhadri Express on PF-4 side on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Traffic CI Killi Venkata Rao said that the traffic constable could not be posted on Sunday as most of the staff were away on bandobust duties. He said a constable would be posted every day at the railway station from Monday.
