Kennedy Jr., the Health and Human Services Department has decided to study the health effects of cellphone radiation, even though several institutions, including the Food and Drug Administration, have previously found there is not enough evidence to suggest a link between health problems and mobile devices.Since HHS began the study, the FDA removed webpages citing its earlier conclusions, including one stating that "the weight of scientific evidence has not linked exposure to radio frequency energy from cellphone use with any health problems," The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.HHS spokesperson Andrew Nixon confirmed the move to the outlet, adding that the department is working "to identify gaps in knowledge, including on new technologies, to ensure safety and efficacy."It's unclear who is conducting the study.Read more at The Wall Street Journal:See All UpdatesClose
