Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Retired CBS Philadelphia news anchor Jim Donovan's love for colorful footwear earned him the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of socks.
Donovan said his colorful socks were noticed by viewers during his tenure on the air, and fans started to send him new pairs to add to his collection -- including some bearing his own face.
"A lot of people have sent me socks over the years with my face on it -- I know, it's a little crazy," he told Guinness World Records.
