Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville said President Donald Trump revealed his “sore spot” earlier this week when he lost his cool after an autoworker shouted “pedophile protector” at him.
Rather than ignore the heckler, Trump yelled “fuck you!” and gave him the middle finger.
Carville called that a “valuable piece of intelligence” for dealing with the president.
“Trump had a massive negative reaction to it. And when you find a sore spot, you keep hitting it. Keep hitting it,” he urged on his podcast. “Hit that sore tooth hard all over the country.”
He said Trump’s critics should bring that phrase everywhere the president appears.
