California Investigating Sexually Explicit AI images On Elon Musk's XCalifornia is launching an investigation into X, Elon Musk's social media network formerly known as Twitter, "facilitating the large-scale production of deepfake nonconsensual intimate images that are being used to harass women and girls across the internet," Attorney General Rob Bonta's office announced Wednesday. The investigation follows media findings that Grok, the AI tool built into the platform, was flooding X with non-consensual, sexually explicit AI images of women and minors. “The avalanche of reports detailing the non-consensual, sexually explicit material that xAI has produced and posted online in recent weeks is shocking," Bonta said in a statement. "This material, which depicts women and children in nude and sexually explicit situations, has been used to harass people across the internet."See All UpdatesClose
