Seth Meyers took aim at Fox News' Sean Hannity Monday night, for his show's coverage of ongoing protests in Minneapolis.
On Monday, crowds in Minnesota entered their second week of protesting following the killing of resident Renee Good by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, and the larger federal immigration crackdown in the city.
After Garrett Tenney, a reporter on Hannity's show, interviewed one of the protestors about why he was demonstrating, the "Late Night" comedian quipped that it was too "normal" an opinion to satisfy Fox's standards.
"I think it's absolutely abhorrent that they're kidnapping people. I'm disgusted that they murdered an innocent human being. And yeah, the entire thing just absolutely abhors me – this has to stop immediately," the protestor told Tenney in the clip aired on "Hannity."
"I'm sorry, but how dare you go on Fox News and state such a normal, reasonable opinion!" Meyers responded in his monologue, with feigned outrage. "If you keep this up, the president's going to be so sad he'll walk over to the window and never come back!"
