Clintons Refuse To Testify In Jeffrey Epstein InquiryFormer President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton refused to testify in the House’s Jeffrey Epstein investigation, despite facing threats to hold them in contempt of Congress.In an eight-page legal letter sent to Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) and obtained by The New York Times on Tuesday, the Clintons said they considered the subpoenas against them "invalid and legally unenforceable" and made clear they planned to fight Comer on the issue.“Every person has to decide when they have seen or had enough and are ready to fight for this country, its principles and its people, no matter the consequences,” the Clintons wrote in the letter to Comer. “For us, now is that time.”Bill Clinton has appeared numerous times in photos and documents related to Epstein, who died in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
