Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Former Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola committed to play at Oregon, he announced Monday on Instagram.

Raiola, who was among the top high school recruits in 2024, completed 72.4% of his throws for 2,000 yards, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions over nine appearances this season for the Cornhuskers.

He completed 67.1% of his throws for 2,819 yards, 14 scores and 11 interceptions over 13 appearances as a freshman. Raiola sustained a broken right fibula during the Cornhuskers' loss to USC on Nov. 1 in Lincoln, Neb. He underwent surgery a few days later and is still recovering from that injury.

He is expected to start for the Ducks next season if 2025 starter Dante Moore declares for the 2026 NFL Draft. If Moore opts to return, Raiola could redshirt next season while serving as a backup for the Ducks.
