A familiar matchup is on Sunday's wild-card round schedule of the 2025 NFL playoffs.

Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles secured back-to-back NFC East titles and aim to defend their Super Bowl title next month in Santa Clara.

The San Francisco 49ers head to Lincoln Financial Field for a rematch of the 2022 NFC championship on Sunday afternoon in the wild-card round.

Under the guidance of Kyle Shanahan, the 49ers have been one of the league's most resilient and explosive teams, managing a 12-5 record in the regular season despite a bevy of injuries. San Francisco squandered the opportunity to secure the NFC's No. 1 seed in Week 18, losing to the Seattle Seahawks and tumbling to the No. 6 seed.

Both of these teams have tons of playoff experience, but San Francisco will have to overcome multiple injuries. Their dynamic offense is led by Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle, but, the defense is without key playmakers like Nick Bosa, Fred Warner and Mykel Williams.
