Nearly three decades after the death of JonBenét Ramsey, a new show is coming to Paramount+ starring Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owens.
"Unspeakable: The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey" is an anthology series centered on the "story of Patsy and John Ramsey (played by McCarthy and Owens, respectively), exploring their unbreakable partnership and the complex dynamics of their marriage and parenting." The show's name was announced on Jan. 5.
A release date for the show has not been announced, but it is expected in summer 2026.
John Ramsey, however, has already said that he is prepared to pursue legal action against Paramount+ if the show depicts his son as a primary suspect in the death of his daughter, he told The Daily Mail.
The limited series was announced in September, reportedly waiting for a green light as it shopped around for a distribution platform, according to Deadline.
