ST. LOUIS — The women and pairs are ready to crown their champions at the 2026 U.S. figure skating nationals.
Both sides had spectacular showings in the short program, highlighted by flawless performances from Amber Glenn, Alysa Liu and Isabeau Levito. The three sit at the top of the women’s standings, and are the Olympic hopefuls well-positioned to make the team for Milano Cortina.
The reigning champion pair of Alisa Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov have a healthy lead in first. Still, the chance to represent Team USA appears to be wide open, and a strong free skate could be the difference in making the Olympic squad.
