Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Liberty running back Evan Dickens, who ran for the ninth-most yards in NCAA Division I FBS this season, committed to Boston College, he said Wednesday.
Dickens, who averaged the third-most rushing yards per game (121.7), totaled 1,339 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground over 11 games in 2025 for the Flames.
He announced plans to enter the transfer portal in December.
Dickens maintains two years of eligibility. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound redshirt sophomore totaled 495 rushing yards over the final two appearances of his Flames career, including a career-best 267 yards and four touchdowns in a season-ending loss to Kennesaw State.
Dickens eclipsed 200 rushing yards three times during the 2025 campaign.
