BTS, which will release its fifth full-length album on March 20, has ranked first on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart with its 2022 release song "Run BTS."
According to the agency Big Hit Music on the 7th, "Run BTS" has already topped the iTunes 'Top Song' charts in 61 countries around the world, including Brazil and Finland, and has also taken first place on Billboard's detailed charts.
"Run BTS" is a song included in the anthology album Proof released in June 2022.
Big Hit Music explained, "This is the result of voluntary streaming by ARMY (fandom name) around the world ahead of the comeback," and "Fans expressed their anticipation for the new album by searching for the team's past songs and listening to them."
Recently, the song "Anpanman" released in 2018 also reached number one on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales, and thanks to leader RM's live broadcast, his second solo song "Nuts" also made a surprise re-entry to number two on the same chart.
