Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt pleaded guilty to reckless driving and a driving without a license charge and received a five-day jail sentence Tuesday in Cincinnati.
Taylor-Britt was booked at 11:23 a.m. EST Tuesday at the Hamilton County Justice Center. He also faced charges of drag racing and failure to obey hazardous zones, signs and markings, which were filed in September. Hamilton County court records show that those charges were dismissed.
Taylor-Britt's five total charges stemmed from two separate incidents, which both occurred in 2025. A Cincinnati police officer said Taylor-Britt drove on the wrong side of the road, did a burnout and was speeding in downtown Cincinnati, according to WKRC (ch. 12) in Cincinnati. He apologized for his actions Tuesday in court.
"That's a gift," Judge Bernie Bouchard said after issuing the five-day sentence, according to WKRC. "Five days instead of 30. He's got to do them now."
