An end-of-the-year family trip to Disneyland went wrong after a man was beaten while waiting in line for a ride.
The Anaheim Police Department is investigating an assault between two guests that took place in the line for Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, on Dec. 30, Anaheim PD Public Information Officer Matt Sutter told USA TODAY. The fight broke out after one group tried to pass another that was standing in line first. A verbal argument led to a physical altercation.
The man injured in the altercation received first aid at the amusement park, Sutter and Disneyland Resort confirmed. He remained at the park for the rest of the day with his family.
The other party, who cut in line, fled Disneyland and has not been located, Sutter said. Detectives believe the suspect is a California resident and are following up on leads.
