Jan. 6 (UPI) -- The Israeli military on Tuesday said its war planes had struck Hezbollah and Hamas in throughout Lebanon.
In a social media post, the Israel Defense Forces said it struck alleged weapon storage facilities and military buildings used by Hamas and Hezbollah, two of Iran's main proxy militias in the region, a day prior.
The IDF said several weapon storage facilities and military buildings struck were above and below ground and were used by Hezbollah "to advance terror plots against IDF forces and the State of Israel and to rehabilitate the organization."
Sites for weapon production for Hamas in southern Lebanon were also hit, it said.
