Youth from Left Wing Extremism (LWE)-affected districts of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Odisha shared the hardships they face including—lack of road connectivity, teacher shortages, and poor medical facilities, underscoring the barriers to pursuing education, at the Tribal Conclave, a youth festival, organised under the aegis of Mera Yuva Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports on Monday.
The programme brought together 200 youth from six districts, including Dantewada, Kanker, Mohla-Manpur, Sukma, West Singhbhum, and Kandhamal.
The participants articulated ambitious dreams of becoming district collectors, police officers, lawyers, and political leaders, firmly asserting that education and development are far better paths than extremism.
