RIYADH: As part of Diriyah Season, the Msalliyah program launched in the historic Adhwaihrah district, one of Diriyah’s most well-known neighborhoods for its cultural and educational heritage.

Running until Jan. 17, the program is open daily from 10 a.m. and offers interactive activities for children and families, introducing intangible heritage through fun and hands-on experiences, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

It aims to deepen understanding and appreciation of Diriyah’s heritage and strengthen connections to its traditions, combining learning and play through Najdi crafts, music, storytelling, and daily practices presented in engaging, modern ways.

The program has three main activities for different age groups: seven educational workshops, “Heritage Discovery,” and “Me and My Family.” These activities mix learning with fun and give children a safe space to be creative while learning about their culture.

In the workshops, children and families explore traditional skills and values, while “Heritage Discovery” is a two-hour interactive adventure with five stations where participants can earn the “Diriyah Scouts Badge.”
