The Department of Posts has set up two service centres (UTSAV Counter and Aadhaar Counter) at Sri Thyagabrahmam Adhishtanam premises at Thiruvaiyaru on January 3, coinciding with the ongoing 179th Thyagaraja Aradhana festival.
Inquiries reveal that the Department of Posts used to set up postal stall and offer Aadhaar enrolment and correction services during the Aradhana festival days. This year, the two service centres were inaugurated on Saturday by the Postmaster General (Central Region), Nirmala Devi.
People can avail the postal services and Aadhaar services till January 7, according to an official release.
