State Rep. James Talarico, who is running in the Democratic primary for Texas' U.S. Senate seat, announced Friday his campaign raised $6.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2025. His campaign did not release a cash-on-hand number.

Talarico is competing with Rep. Jasmine Crockett, herself a strong fundraiser, in the March 3 primary. The winner will go on to face either GOP Sen. John Cornyn or one of two Republicans trying to unseat him in a contentious primary.

Talarico had $5 million in his campaign account as of the last Federal Election Commission reporting date at the end of September. Crockett had $4.6 million.
