The Delhi High Court has protected the personality rights of actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Junior, popularly known as NTR Junior, restraining several websites and online platforms from unauthorised commercial use of his name, image and likeness.

Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora, while hearing a plea filed by the actor, passed an interim order restraining various defendants — including unidentified entities and websites — from exploiting the actor’s personality traits using artificial intelligence and deepfake technology until the next date of hearing.
