The Telangana Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) Force, in a joint operation with the Banjara Hills police, arrested a 47-year-old woman and seized MDMA and LSD blots from her near Road No. 3 in Banjara Hills as part of intensified anti-drug enforcement ahead of the New Year celebrations on Tuesday.

The accused, identified as Hassa, a resident of Banjara Hills, was apprehended near a mobile phone shop in the area. Police said she tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine during medical examination. The seized contraband and the accused were handed over to the Banjara Hills police for further legal action.

Investigation revealed that Hassa confessed to having developed links with a Goa-based drug supplier identified as Romi Bharath Kalyani during a visit to the coastal State in December 2024. She allegedly began procuring MDMA from him and continued to source narcotics during multiple visits to Goa in March, July, October and December 2025.

Police said that during her most recent visit on December 26, 2025, the supplier allegedly handed over MDMA and LSD blots to her at Siolim and later in Mapusa. The accused also admitted that on some occasions, acquaintances from Hyderabad consumed MDMA along with her.
