Nicki Minaj has deactivated her Instagram account after a surprise appearance at a major event for conservative organizing machine Turning Point USA.

The people of the internet noticed that the “Anaconda” rapper’s Instagram had gone dark on Wednesday, just days after she buddied up with rising Republican celebrity Erika Kirk, the widow of late activist and Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk, on the final day of the organization’s four-day AmericaFest in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sunday.

During the conversation, Minaj told Kirk she had “the utmost respect and admiration” for President Donald Trump, saying, “I don’t know if he even knows this, but he’s given so many people hope.”

Though her Instagram is still offline, she remains active on X, where she shared Christmas wishes along with a post that said, “Angels bow before him. Heaven & Earth adore him. What a mighty God we serve,” on Friday.

While reps for Minaj did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s questions about her Instagram exit, the rap diva did address backlash over her new support for the president while talking to Kirk.
