The year 2025 witnessed major developments in Kerala, from the UDF sweep in the local body polls after a decade-long wait to the acquittal of Malayalam actor Dileep by a trial court in the 2017 actor abduction and assault case, and controversies relating to the Sabarimala Sree Dharma Sastha temple.
