Fans of "Home Town" can get ready for a new spinoff of the HGTV show, but be warned: Erin and Ben Napier won't be the hosts.
"Home Town," which started in 2016 and launched the couple to fame, has had several off shoots, including "Home Town Takeover," "Home Town Kickstart," and "Home Town: Ben's Workshop."
The upcoming "Home Town Takeover" will head to Canada, and the location is why the pair won't be the main hosts of the series.
"Our production company is Canadian. The people who make our show, they're passionate about this Canadian takeover," Erin Napier told Cinemablend. "But because we're Americans, we're not legally allowed to host the show. We can only be in it as, like guest stars."
Ben added, "A Canadian broadcast show has to be hosted by Canadian talent."
