Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay on Wednesday (December 24, 2025) urged his party workers to remain vigilant on the ground, constantly engage with the public, and understand the strategies of the party’s political and ideological opponents.
In a statement, Mr. Vijay said the party workers should ensure that every eligible voter’s name was included in the electoral rolls and urged them to facilitate the inclusion of eligible persons whose names were not on the electoral rolls, particularly first-time voters.
He said the party had successfully conducted three public outreach programmes in Kancheepuram, Puducherry, and Erode, despite attempts to weaken the party through conspiracies. According to him, those who tried to cripple the party were taken aback by the scale of public support it received.
