Holiday bark products sold at Aldi stores nationwide are being recalled due to undeclared allergens, according to an announcement posted on the Food and Drug Administration's website.

Silvestri Sweets voluntarily recalled its Choceur-branded Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark because it may contain undeclared wheat, and it is also recalling its Cookie Butter Holiday Bark, as it may contain pecans. The recall was initially announced back in November and then expanded to include more products on Tuesday, Dec. 23.

"The expanded recall was initiated after it was discovered that the Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark had been packaged in Cookie Butter Holiday Bark packages, resulting in undeclared pecan," the announcement stated.

Those with allergies to wheat or pecans could have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat these products, according to the FDA. No illnesses linked to this recall have been reported.
