Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Louisville and Toledo tussled in a major sideline brawl in the fourth quarter of the Bush's Boca Raton Bowl of Beans, with players exchanging punches.

The incident occurred with about 1:53 remaining in Louisville's 27-22 victory Thursday in Boca Raton, Fla.

Cardinals running back Isaac Brown took a handoff to start the sequence, attempting to run time off the clock. Rockets linebacker K'Von Sherman ran into the area to tackle Brown, but he also pulled him out of bounds and threw him to the ground on the Cardinals sideline in the process.

Cardinals players took exception to Sherman's tackle and surrounded the linebacker before pulling him to the ground and hitting him. Players and staff members then engaged in a shoving match until they were eventually separated and the game resumed.
