About 95 lakh names have been excluded from the draft electoral rolls in Andaman and Nicobar, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh which were published on Tuesday (December 23, 2025) as part of the ongoing special intensive revision (SIR) exercise.

In the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, 64,000 of the 3.10 lakh electors were removed from the draft rolls. In Kerala, names of 24.08 lakh from among 2.78 crore voters were deleted. Of the 2.12 crore electors, 27.34 lakh names were dropped in Chhattisgarh, and in Madhya Pradesh, 42.74 lakh of the 5.74 crore electors were struck off after the first phase of the SIR.

The voters whose names have been deleted can apply for re-inclusion. The electoral officers will take a final decision on the applications and the final rolls will be issued on February 14, 2026.

The draft rolls are made available on the Chief Electoral Officer’s website of the respective State and Union Territory, the Election Commission’s voter portal, and the ECINET application.
